Jet and Walmart orders in Shopify

Due to Walmart, JET, and Shopify's API limitations there are some restrictions on what data we can send to Shopify;

  • Sellers cannot contact buyers with any promotional materials or send them any automated emails, invoices, or notifications. This is why we only provide the name of a buyer in the Customer section.
  • Each order is tagged as either Jet or Walmart to identify its origin.
  • Shopify's API does not allow shipping charges to be assigned to orders placed outside the Shopify store. This is why GeekSeller provides information about shipping charges and delivery expectations as notes on the order.
